EAMCET is a state-level exam that is conducted for the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET is organized for admission in Engineering, Agriculture and other courses that are offered by the government and private colleges located Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

There are two examinations that are organized: AP EAMCET for Andhra Pradesh aspirants and TS EAMCET for Telangana students. Here, candidates can check about all the information regarding EAMCET 2021.

AP EAMCET 2021 is a state-level entrance test for Andhra Pradesh students which is organized by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on the behalf of APSCHE. It is a gateway for admissions in engineering, agriculture, and other courses.

TS EAMCET 2021 is a state level examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on the behalf of TSCHE. This examination is organized for Telangana aspirants for admissions in various courses like engineering, agriculture, etc.

Eligibility criteria:

Qualifying Exam:

  • Candidates passed or appeared in 10+2 exam or any other exam recognized as equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as an optional subject from any recognized board of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002.

OR

  • Candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of a diploma in engineering from any recognized board of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Candidates must have cleared the qualifying exam with a minimum of 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category).

  • For B.Tech (Dairy Technology/Agri. Engg./FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), candidates must be 17 years of age or more as or on December 31, 2021

  • The upper limit for admission to courses mentioned in the previous point is 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes as or on December 31, 2021

There is also a 25% weightage for 12th Scores in Maths/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

EAMCET 2021 Cut Off:

This cut-off will be considered for providing admissions in the year 2021. The entrance to these courses across the participating institutions will be based on the cut-off scores. ​To qualify the exam, a total of 40 marks out of 160 will be needed. JNTU prepares a merit list for the seat allotment process. Candidates securing the minimum cut-off will be able to participate in counseling and seat allotment procedure.
