How to Calculate the JEE Percentile: The percentile score of a JEE candidate can be calculated using the following formula: Percentile score = (100 * Number of candidates with scores equal to or less than the candidate's score) / (Total number of candidates who appeared in the session)

JEE Main Tiebreaker Guidelines: In the event of two or more students obtaining equal scores, the following guidelines are used to determine the rank:

  1. Candidates with a higher Mathematics percentile score are given a higher rank.

  2. If the tie persists, the candidate with the higher Physics percentile score is ranked higher.

  3. If the tie still remains, the candidate with a higher Chemistry percentile score is ranked higher.

  4. In case of a tie, the older candidate is given a higher rank.
